DifficultyBeginner

Yields4 Servings
Cook Time30 mins

 2 lbs Chicken wings
 1 tsp Sea salt
 1 tsp Garlic powder
 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
 ½ tsp Ground black pepper
 ¼ tsp Baking powder
 1 cup Barbecue sauce
 ½ cup Honey

1

Place the chicken wings on a baking tray and pat thoroughly with a paper towel to dry.

2

In a bowl, combine salt, garlic powder, pepper, smoked paprika, black pepper, and baking powder.

3

Rub the mixture into the chicken wings until well coated.

4

Preheat the air fryer at 390°F for 5 minutes.

5

Add wings to the Air Fryer and cook for 20 minutes. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket. You can use an air fryer rack like this one to cook more wings at once without overcrowding.

6

Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time.

7

Make sure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165° F using a food thermometer. (If you don't already have one, you can get one here)

8

In another bowl, combine the honey and barbecue sauce, mix well.

9

Remove chicken from the fryer and place it in a baking tray. Brush the chicken wings with honey barbecue sauce on both sides.

10

Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 400°F until the honey barbecue sauce has dried and crisped. (Be careful not to overcook the chicken!)

11

You can make another batch of the honey-bbq sauce to dip your wings once served. Enjoy!
